Does Natural Gas Increase Or Decrease a Cars Horsepower?
I want to do a natural gas conversion and I don’t know if it will decrease or increase or keep your horsepower the same
Horsepower, I do not know. But LP is cleaner burning, easier on he engine and I think has about an 102 octane rating.

Some in the U. S. are promoting the use of natural gas to power our cars and trucks. While in Canada,?
I thought I saw a service station that sold both gas and natural gas. Is that common in Canada? Do you have experiences with cars that run on natural gas?
I’ve seen cars that run on propane, never natural gas though. From what I understand, it’s pretty easy to switch over a car from gas to propane. I have never seen a filling station offering it though.
why are car makers not making cars running on natural gas?
we have lots of natural gas and it is cheap….
There are a lot of hydrogen fuel cell cars on the roads in test areas like southern california and new york but it will probably be a little while before they are affordable, reliable and feasible in all areas. Honda I believe has developed a home refueling station that uses natural gas to fuel up these cars.

How natural gas work in motorcycle? Please help…. =(?
Can someone explain to me step by step how natural gas installed to motorcycle? Because all topics here in the net is all about natural gas CAR no MOTORCYCLE…. =( please help I need for my thesis project…. Thank you very match guys… =)
my project title is REDESIGN OF A MODERN TRICYCLE POWERED BY COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS. i need to know what parts going to install in the motorcycle? 1st the CNG Tank- Pipe for tank to engine- switch for alternative fuel- and the others i don’t know =D pls help….. can you provide picture link and txt thnak you =)
The tank would be too heavy, and cumbersome, and negate any savings in MPG. Now a 2 stroke fuel injected diesel motorcycle sounds a lot better. Technically speaking yes you can install a vacuum controlled fuel valve that allows controlled LPG in the intake, and it will work, same as a car, or bus, but they have room and the need for it. LPG, btw is a slow burning fuel, and will not perform in high speed engines, the flame front is too slow. This is why high performance engines need higher octane, the engine speed is so high, that you need a fast flame front, and the faster the better. there also is the problem of delivery of LPG in the size volume your considering. any tank small enough to fit a motorcycle would be prone to freezing due to its second nature as a pressure temperature gas. So yes it can be done, however the obstacles outweigh the advantages
Why doesn’t the United States auto manufactures make natural gas automobiles?
I’ve been reading and searching to find a US made natural gas car or truck and the only way you can get one is buy a Honda or do an after market natural gas kit.
Money and politics. Detroit won’t spit in the eye of big oil until Big Oil controls the CNG market. The same holds true for electric & ethanol vehicles. If big Oil can’t corner the electric or ethanol market, they will do their best to quash it. Until Detroit can control the market and Big Oil can control the CNG supply, it won’t happen. Big Oil has been hoarding it’s oil reserves here in this country just waiting for The Middle east to run out. What will happen to all of the untapped oil reserves if demand gets cut in half? The price of oil is not determined by what it costs to produce it, it is determined by how much the market is willing to pay for it. It’s a very greed oriented system.
Brazil has been using "flex fuel" cars since 1976 – why did we wait until the new millennium to do so? Since when are the Brazilian politicians so much smarted than American politicians?
