More and more vehicles are filling up on compressed natural gas, or CNG, and we’ll explore two innovative ways this fuel is being used. First stop is a trip to the Eco-Fueler factory in
Eugene, Florida to check out the American Roadsterâ„¢ CNG, a 70-mile per gallon vehicle that runs on compressed
natural gas. There’s currently a four-month waiting list to get a Roadster but we’ll get the inside scoop when we visit the factory to see the car made from start to finish. Second stop is Puente Hills landfill, the largest landfill in the U.S. They’re processing the landfill’s gaseous emissions into usable CNG for vehicle use. The facility can dispense approximately 200,000 gasoline gallon equivalent units of CNG fuel to
local customers. And it has replaced 120 of its own vehicles with CNG powered equipment. It’s a new world and alternative energy is finding its place in all aspects of life.

I like the idea and the fuel mileage, but if Eco-fueler really wants to get that idea out there I would recommend re-designing the exterior. A car can perform good, but it also needs to have some visual appeal.
