Hear no Evil See no Evil Feel no Evil…..
The truth will set you free…. =D
Natural gas is …
Natural gas is primarily Methane, thats the gas that thins our atmosphere, allowing cancerous rays into our world.
I would guess at the Americans would be blocking it for this reason, same as they are blocking deisels for producing high levels of Carbon monoxide, and soot. [pure carbon]
it may not be …
it may not be exactly the same, however both are current valid fuel alternatives i.e. Australia-LPG and in Argentina-natural gas (BTW Argentina has one million cars runing on natural gas already) they both cost a fraction of gasoline, so the question remains the same, why the US is not doing it?
Is it just me or do …
Is it just me or do people here seem to have mistaken LPG for natural gas.? Including the fellow that posted the vid…
One point to make is the the government rebate is for LPG not for natural gas.
The reason for LPG being half the price is because of low demand. As soon as people start demanding it, the price will go up, just like deisel did.
Also, Both LPG and deisel produce more emmissions than their petrol counterpart, so don’t be fooled by the marketing hype.
Since labour came …
Since labour came into government in Australia, petrol prices all over the country have increased between $0.30 and $0.50 cents per litre!….Housing interest rates buy the end of this year will be between 10% and 11%, with in 2 years they will be heading towards 13% to 15%, and we all know who is behind all of it, in the labour government. Labour getting kicked out next federal election!
oh god people in …
oh god people in egypt we call them third world they start this already since 1995and they did run ther Vehicles and buss on natural gas and we here in america in 2008 we want to lead the world & still america did not figure out how to make this happened why ??!! is this is how far america get behind the world ??!! i’m shocked totally shocked
LPG which is …
LPG which is primarily used in taxi cabs is Liquid Petroleum Gasoline. LPG is a by-product from the refining process of crude oil, and as there is an oversupply, the cost is around 50% cheaper than petroleum.
Natural Gas which is mostly used in homes for heating water, and cooking is a completely different product.
Thats the other …
Thats the other trick about natural gas. Its great for fleet vehicles, like taxis and buses, not so great for consumer vehicles.
As for electric cars, for the forseeable future, plugin electric hybrids will be the way to go.
That said, I’m thinking something quite different than a conventional hybrid with a bigger battery.
Instead it would be more like a fully electric car with a small backup generator merely to charge the battery.
Difference being it’s about 10x less complex in parts.
electric could be …
electric could be the way to go, but seems impossible to get car manufacturers to build them (not talking about hybrid ones).
Natural gas in Australia is a reality.
You can buy it on most gas stations and cost half the price of gasoline. The gas tank takes the same space as a spare tyre in the boot a car. Prices are pretty steady, even when oil fluctuates. In Sydney all the taxi drivers re using it.
Also, Brazil isn’t …
Also, Brazil isn’t that successful with their ethanol production. They rely on Oil for almost all of their fuel.

Natural Gas is nice …
Natural Gas is nice, but it’s too bulky.
It’s probably easier to do clean diesels.

Ethanol isn’t inexpensive.

Electric, now that is inexpensive.
