mrlondonlover, Khomeini’s hand picked commissin, specifically put together to prove that 100s of thousands of people were killed by the Pahlavies, gave a number closer to 3,000 which included criminals like murderers, bank rubbers, cop killers, & so on. Even though they had counted Takhti as one, they clearly stated that they could not prove it. Also most people, including soldiers and police officers tend to want to defend themselves by fighting back when attacked by an armed terrorist group.

The Iranian people were right to revolt.The Pahlavies were terrible.Before the Pahlavies, the literacy rate was nearly 100% as Iranians enjoyed the worlds most prosperous economy. The Qajars not only defeated the Russians & the Turks in every battle, but also were able to gain vast Russian territories by simply sponsoring the czars vacations. By conning the British into signing favorable contracts, the Qajars were able to sell oil from the oilfields of England & keep nearly all of the profits.
After the Pahlavies …
After the Pahlavies Iran has become a great power again. The Shahs antiquated military, staffed with untrained personnel, was immediately replaced with the most modern machinery and highest trained generals making it the fifth most powerful on the planet. Within 1 or 2 days, and hardly any casualties, they repelled the Iraqi aggression and gained vast territories. It is estimated that over a MILLION IRANIAN LIVES would have been lost if it were not for the genius of the mullahs during the war.

By the way, who has told you that iran has 2500 culture, does our culture starts by the Persian empire or before that we had cultures too?? just for your information iran has over 10,000 years of culture. There were people in the sw part of iran called ALI kosh who domesticated many plants and animals for the first time in the history of the world. A few of 100 of years later ILAM became one of the civilized cities of the world. So, edit your provide explanation for this video please
